A Still More Glorious Dawn Awaits
If, like me, you grew up watching Carl Sagan – creator of the video series Cosmos and the book Pale Blue Dot – you already know what a bad ass he was. Now John Boswell has remixed Carl Sagan (who no doubt would be a good sport about it) for a new generation. The song also features a brief cameo by Stephen Hawking who’s book “A Brief History of Time” needs to be read with great deliberation.
I hope the more contemporary beat of this video will inspire a new generation to enjoy the products of these brilliant scientific minds.

Capsule, the most difficult to find company on the internet, has a new website. Very elegant. Cool. Subtle. And the only site I’ve ever intended to visit that ends in .us
I do miss the atmospheric beats of the previous website, now dubbed CapsuleLab. There was a spell when I used to turn it on in the background when my ipod died. Feels like that anticipatory groove loop before a Peter Gabriel concert. Oh, now you’re curious.
If you dig those funky bloops, you can craft your own looped musical grooviness at tonematrix.

Ah, Tuesday in the office and the rest of the week stretches out long and luxuriously across your calendar full of semi-pointless meetings and semi-realistic deadlines. As you clear your throat in a valiant attempt to hide the sound of your spirit crumbling your eyes light upon your headphones and you smile inwardly as you pick them up, hit play and know you’ll make it through.
Music makes such a difference doesn’t it? Check out this fun, slightly campy video from The Tragically Hip “My Music At Work”. Or for a full day of tunes you can stream the Current. It’s pledge week btw and they could use your help.
Avett Brothers - I and Love and You
I am completely obsessed with this song. I haven’t had a chance to listen to any other (because I can’t stop playing this one on repeat) but if you can manage listen to other songs, you can find plenty more on their myspace
