anyone who has had the great joy of driving in the mpls metro lately knows that the potholes are tremendous, so i couldn’t help but fall in love with these pothole gardens by british artist pete dungey. as the artist says, “if we planted one of those in every hole, it would be like a forest in the road.” how true.

Since plants won’t survive in MSP until May perhaps we could put attractive, round boulders in the road and call it a zen garden. Be a great “traffic calming” device.
