i’ve heard that between 2 and 3 per cent of the world population has red hair. i’ve also heard that we’ll be extinct in 20 or 50 years (or something like that), but i’m not buying it, since my cousin and my friend chrissy both have redheaded children…
at any rate, we redheads certainly are a rare breed, which is the name of photographer and fellow ginger julia baum’s lovely portrait blog of redheads. definitely worth checking out.

I wonder if there were once other colors that “died out”? Maybe cavemen (and women) came in every color of the rainbow.
